As we travel southeast, we pass over Beijing and the Bohai Sea and move towards Korea, which appears on the right.
Apart from a spot of light in Pyongyang, North Korea is cloaked in darkness, while South Korea and its capital city of Seoul are bright.
As the journey continues, the southern half of Japan emerges alongside some islands in the South China Sea.
Our path keeps southeast, over the Philippine Sea towards Australia.
